Rick joins Lion’s Gate Wellness team with over 15 years of healing experience. Prior to completing his massage therapy course at Trillium College he was practicing Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Somato Emotional Release, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Hypnosis and Grief Recovery. Rick also incorporates Reiki and Hawaiian Huna healing techniques in his sessions which assist with the healing process.
Every experience that we have in life is felt in the mind and the body. There can never be a separation of this dynamic. Even when you don’t feel a connection between the two it is always there. The issues he can treat include: trauma, post traumatic stress, tension release therapy, and chronic pain therapy. He has experienced great success with child and adolescent disorders, including attention deficit, hyperactivity and neurological disorders including autism.
While many practitioners focus directly on emotional, physical or spiritual healing, Rick works with a combination of these three areas. Quite often the stresses we feel physically are a result or emotional or spiritual issues that are contained more deeply within us.
